Straight outta Powys, Ellie Goulding was already getting airplay on Radio 1 and 6 Music, before popping up on the BBC's
Sound of 2010. The judges of that list suggest of Ellie Goulding that “If Kate Bush, Bjork and Stevie Nicks shared a flat in Shoreditch in 2009, but were a little bit more sane, this noise would emerge."
This is a little bit bonkers for someone who sounds a bit like Little Bootsand Lykke Li really.
With her début album coming out on Polydor in February, it looks like 2010 could be Ellie Goulding's year.
