FAME! Jr the Musical takes centre stage at the MEMO in August as part of a new community performance collaboration with Superstars in the Making.
The
production presents a fusion of styles and ideas from hip-hop to
bebop, contemporary to tap, creating an explosion of song and dance
from a local led elite cast of show-stopping top talent.
FAME! Jr the Musical
follows the story of a diverse group of students at New York City’s
celebrated High School of the Performing Arts who inspired a generation.
The Musical ran for a decade on London’s West End and has been seen by
over 10 million worldwide.

FAME PRE-SHOW WORKSHOPS
Each
Fame performance will be complemented by a pre-show workshop,
providing key theatre skills devised and delivered by the cast tutors to
give participants an insight into the musical and the rehearsal
processes used by the Company.
The workshop is free but is
limited to a maximum of 30 participants per workshop, places must be
booked when you purchase your ticket to the performance.
