Saturday, 23rd October 2010 @ 12:00 pm - 22:00 pm
Venue:
Various
Age Restrictions:
14+
Cost:
£6/£12 (all day)

Several all ages and underage events will take place as part of this year's SWN Festival, including a day of shows curated by KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES and THE BLACKOUT, taking place at Clwb Ifor Bach, Y Fuwch Goch and Spillers Records, including a solo set from GAVIN BUTLER (The Blackout) and an acoustic set from KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES. The day will culminate with an Underage DJ event at Millennium Music Hall where Aled (Kids In Glass Houses) and Sean (The Blackout) will DJ. This DJ event will only be open to those aged 14-18 and no alcohol will be served.

Welsh Promoters SWN are bringing a series of shows to Cardiff to audiences of those aged 14+ with a series of gigs that are either 'All Ages' (ie open to those 14 or over) or 'Underage' for those aged 14-18. The new events will be part of an ongoing commitment to bring new music or clubnights to the city for those 'underage'.

Tickets for the Underage DJ event are £6 advance from http://www.wegottickets.com/event/95489

SWN are also offering a special U18 Saturday wristbands to the festival for just £12 to enable those under 18 to go to the whole day's events from midday until 10.00pm.

Other forthcoming SWN shows which offer access to those 14 or over include GET CAPE WEAR CAPE FLY, MARINA & THE DIAMONDS and THE WOMBATS.

A new SWN UNDERAGE group has been set up on Facebook for anyone who wants to keep informed of these shows, and they can follow SWN on Twitter @swnfestival or sign up to www.swnfest.com for updates and news.
