On 11th August 2011, some young people from Powys’s Website Waffler’s took part in CLIC training in Creating Video Stories.

This training took place in Presteign in Powys at The Judge’s Lodgings. This used to be the local law court where the Judge and his Clerk lived. Downstairs in the building is a law court and below that are two cells. The lodgings are very old and the Website Wafflers wanted to find out if it was haunted. They were told the clerk’s room was thought to be, but the real spooky place were the cells.

The Waffler’s decided to make a thirty-second video about these cells where an arrested person would be held and their journey upstairs to court. The carvings in the walls that had been made by these people really made you think about how these were real people and so how awful it would have been to be held there.

You can view the video above. The Waffler’s should be receiving their ACN certificates really soon.

Great to see these creative little pieces from the CLIC training. Looking forward to the video content that will be created as you have now learned how to film, edit and add music to your videos. If your editorial group or group of young people are interested in the training offered by CLIC then please get in touch.
