CLIC Winter Resi
Back in March, three members of the Newport editorial group attended the CLIC residential in Anglesey.
This was our first of four this year and it was a great experience and great fun.
The journey there was a bit hectic with the bus ride being seven hours, a literal hell. But this unfortunate event brought a lot of laughs, along with a very hip hop hoedown song, Ten Hours.
When we arrived we were all anxious to see what the house looked like, and it was stunning. We all settled in and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Everyone gathered for a couple of ice breakers and games along with munchies (food).
The first night was fun and the Saturday was no different, with a number of workshops and activities. Many were on adapting and improving the CLIC website and some were learning about the website throughout the day.
We also had a pleasant visit from a one of the best clowns in the UK. We had fun using and experimenting with the clown toys and we all found it fun. After a long day of work we all settled for tea and a little bit of fun which included CLIC's Got Talent.
Everyone had a late night with high levels of fun. We had to wake up Sunday morning seven a.m. and everyone was tired. We finished of with some evaluations and pictures. Then it was off home.
Altogether we found it to be a great and positive experience.

I love how ridiculously late this is haha! But thanks for bringing up awesome memories! =) And I'm not being funny (odd expression), but I can't see us having four this year, even though I'd love it if we could. Were already looking at late June at the earliest for our next one, possibily even early July. So, unfortunately, I can't see us having two after that.... btu we should go to Disney in Paris. Just saying...

Oi, Disney was my idea, thank you very much! haha. And yeah it was a fab resi. It was really memorable and I still mention it to my family & friends. I can't wait til the next one! x
