Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls I’m pleased to announce that the grand council of CLIC have finally burped up an answer after just one more wafer-thin mint.

I can’t announce it just yet as I have to pad this article out so that it meets the required word count (just scroll down if you can’t handle the waffle).

CLIC doubled up its helping of CLICmas turkey in 2011 with 24 articles gobbling up 2010’s poultry 12. These 24 articles game from across Wales and the CLIC network; one from Shouttawe (Swansea), two each from Torfaen, Young Flintshire, Swoosh (Vale of Glamorgan) and Carmarthenshire Youth, four from Wicid (RCT) and a whopping eleven from theSprout (Cardiff).

They weren’t all your standard articles either; we had photography, some playlists, some poems, a video, even a recipe! Quite a feast for the grand council of CLIC to chew over, I’m sure you agree.

But chew over it, and many other things, they did and I have in my hand the result - a festive napkin with the winner’s name written in old gravy, underlined with a small shard of a turkey’s furcula (that’s the proper name for wishbone – see there is wisdom in waffle occasionally) and correctly punctuated by something green that looks neither hygienic nor healthy.

So without further ado as I think I’ve now made the word count, it gives me great pleasure to announce that the winner of an Ice White Nintendo 3DS and Super Mario 3D Land bundle is…

I’d like to congratulate MarshMallo on a worthy win and to say a big thank you to everyone who entered, read, commented or shared the CLICmas message, to Tania CLIC for her mad translation skills, Dan CLIC for jumping in when I disappeared to Cornwall for a couple of days and a mega-thanks to Lola CLIC for her amazing design work and for updating the calendar. I hope you all have a great 2012, which will of course be capped by CLICmas 2012!
