Ebbw Vale Photomarathon
Ebbw Vale Institute (EVI) is inviting all photographers of all ages to put their skills to the test at Ebbw Vale’s first photomarathon on 11 July, Saturday. The meeting point is the Ebbw Vale library at 10.00 am.
The marathon aims to capture images of Ebbw Vale in 2009. Each photographer will be given six mystery themes to work on. You can use your mobile phone or digital camera and everyone is welcome!
While you can take as many photos as you like for each theme, you may only enter one image per theme in the competition. The panel of judges includes professionals from Ebbw Vale Camera Club and Coleg Gwent Photography Department.
The pictures will be exhibited at EVI and www.create-at-evi.org for all to see and everyone will have at least one image on show.
The prizes are:
First Prize: £75 Walter’s Photography voucher.
Second Prize: £50 Walter’s Photography voucher.
Third Prize: £35 Walter’s Photography voucher.
Under 16 prize: Apple iPod Shuffle.

Mae Sefydliad Glynebwy (EVI) yn gwahodd pob ffotograffydd o bob oedran i ddangos eu gallu yn ffotomarathon cyntaf Glynebwy ddydd Sadwrn, 11 Gorffennaf. Pawb i gyfarfod am 10.00am yn Llyfrgell Glynebwy.
Mae’r marathon yn gobeithio cipio lluniau o Glynebwy yn 2009. Bydd pob ffotograffydd yn cael chwe thema ddirgel i weithio arno. Gallwch ddefnyddio’ch ffôn symudol neu eich camera digidol ac mae croeso i bawb gymryd rhan.
Gallwch dynnu cymaint o luniau ag yr hoffech ar gyfer pob thema, ond dim ond un llun gewch chi ei gynnig ar bob thema i gael ei gyflwyno i’r gystadleuaeth. Mae panel y dyfarnwyr yn cynnwys ffotograffwyr proffesiynol o Glwb Camera Glynebwy ac Adran Ffotograffiaeth Coleg Gwent.
Bydd y lluniau’n cael eu harddangos yn EVI ac hefyd ar www.create-at-evi.org i bawb gael eu gweld a bydd gan bawb o leiaf un llun yn cael ei arddangos.
