Eyes
Look into the eyes of a child,
You will see laughter and joy.
Look into the eyes of a man,
You will see compassion and fright.
Look into the eyes of a lady,
You will see love and lust.
Look into the eyes of the old,
You will see youthfulness and spirit.
Look into my eyes,
You will see the world as I do,
With poverty and fear,
Life and death,
Sorrow and joy.
I wish I could see the world like you,
Instead I see a world divided.
