How CLIC & Swoosh Changed My Life
Right, I know most people won't want to read this, but trust me, it's worth reading.
I'm only 12 but since I joined CLIC and Swoosh my life had changed so much.
So, I’m going to start by telling you how Swoosh has changed my life.
I joined Swoosh through hearing about it my Youth Forum, I went along to a meeting with my big sister. We found it really fun (and not just because they had free pizza!). I also joined CLIC through Swoosh (but I'll tell you about that later.).
I've met people from all over The Vale (including people who go to my school). You have to be 11 to join, as when you're aged between 11 and 25, you're classed as a young person. I enjoy going to the meetings and having loads of fun.
In our last meeting we met The Vale's new Youth Champion, Richard Bertin (who I also saw today, driving a bus). He told us about some of the things that were being planned in The Vale, Including a cinema. I would invite anyone to come along, as it’s really good fun and an amazing thing to get involved in.
I also joined CLIC through Swoosh (CLIC is the all of Wales youth website). Every now and then loads of young people from all around Wales meet up on a residential weekend and have loads of fun, but we also do proper stuff. We talk about what is happening in our area, what is happening for young people in Wales and stuff like that.
Thanks to CLIC I have friends from all over Wales, and even though they're all older than me (by a lot of years) they accept me into their group of young people. The first residential I went on was to Cardiff Bay, and I got VERY hyper on squash!
I made some zombie films (check out the vid on the side) which was a lot of fun to do (thanks to CLIC's AMAZING staff). I even think that the video is on the CLIC website. I would also invite people to join CLIC as well (but you've got to get your residential form in quickly, as the spaces go VERY fast).
I would make a start by joining you local CLIC group (e.g. Cardiff -The Sprout, Vale Of Glamorgan -Swoosh, Newport - Young Newport and so on).
CLIC and Swoosh have changed my life for the better, and if you want to join, I hope CLIC and your local CLIC group change yours too.

And you have changed our lives by being such an awesome member of the CLIC crew! Who could forget the 'Zombie Bay' experience, or your squash E-number induced levels of energy which could power Barry for a year?!
Hope to see you on the next CLIC weekender for a zombie movie sequel - 'Zombie Bay 2: Zombies On Tour' maybe??
