Live UnLtd
Do you have ideas? I do. Not all of them good, which is a shame.
Anyway, do you have any innovative, creative and exciting ideas for projects that will make your area a better place? And no, painting your local police station bright pink does not count.
Well, turn to Live UnLtd and their newly launched Summer Of Great Ideas Campaign. They are keen to receive applications from anyone aged between 11 and 21 who would like to set up their own area impact project.
Your project can be about topics and issues that young people are interested in, whether that's the arts, sport, scientific, bullying, or whatever's close to your heart.
Not heard of Live UnLtd before? They have helped support inter-generational projects, with all projects and enterprises run by the young people themselves.
Support is available in the form of cash awards, which start at around £500, which can be used to pay for equipment or other things that are required to start a project. Not only that, you will also have the services of a dedicated Development Manager to help you on your project planning and budgeting. And to top it all off, all their support is free of charge. Win.
Interested? Well, make sure you're eligible first.
If you are
- Over 11 years of age
- Live in the United Kingdom
- An individual or informal group (so, you can't apply on behalf of your school, youth club or anything of that sort)
- Have your own idea, which should have a positive impact on your community and demonstrate that you have identified a problem and discuss how your project can solve the said problem.
Eligible? Sweet. Have a gander at Live UnLtd's website for information about applying for this thing.
Or if you require more info, drop them an email on amandaeverson@unltd.org.uk or pick up the phone and call them on 07713 069581.
