GwirVol, a scheme designed to increase the number of young people taking part in volunteering in Wales, has been officially launched.
GwirVol is an initiative made up of a partnership of 20 organisations from the voluntary, community, public and private sectors in Wales.
Volunteering is a great way to improve your CV, widen your career options, learn new skills, meet new people and boost your self-confidence.
GwirVol aims to make it easier for you to volunteer by:
- offering training and volunteering opportunities
- deploying Youth Volunteer advisors throughout Wales
- increasing the scope of volunteering opportunities to include young people who experience barriers
