Young Ambassador Programme
Award-winning anti-bullying charity, BulliesOut, has designed a Young Ambassador Programme to attract a dynamic group of young people (aged 12 – 25) who have an interest not only in supporting BulliesOut but in improving their community.
In an effort to engage you in philanthropy, our Young Ambassador Programme was developed to build awareness amongst you of the BulliesOut charity and its work.
Through participation in this programme, you learn leadership skills, how a non-profit organisation works and how to develop, promote and implement your ideas.
The programme will equip you with the confidence and skills to speak out against bullying so the voice of the youth of today is heard by everyone. By creating Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, the charity will build a strong youth voice against bullying and will significantly boost your development.
Linda James, Founder and Chief Executive said: “We are excited about the participation of the Young ‘Anti Bullying’ Ambassadors in BulliesOut activities. The vision of the programme is to encourage and support our youth to grow into engaged adults. Youth participation is a critical component that supports positive youth development."
The Young Ambassador Programme offers you the opportunity to participate in various events and activities throughout the year with the anti-bullying charity which was founded in 2006.
Natalie Elward, Youth Development Officer for BulliesOut continues 'Young people should be really excited about the opportunity to become a young ambassador. It's a fantastic chance to gain all the skills volunteering gives plus so much more! Residential events, having their voice heard and working internationally are some of the exciting challenges that they could be involved in'.
