A stone's throw from the Ryder Cup Course, the ancient Roman legionary fortress town will be host to a range of events. Sculptors of international repute will be creating works of art from wood and stone including children's reading chairs (in conjunction with the BBC Breathing Spaces project). Children's art will be created by local school children, there will be Shakespeare in the Roman amphitheatre, music and singing - folk, rock, pop, classical, jazz and choir, exotic dancing and art and craft exhibitions.
