Venue:
Aberdare Skatepark
Age Restrictions:
No Min Age
Cost:
FREE!

To celebrate Aberdare Skateparks 4th Birthday, we are once again holding a free to enter, open to all, Skateboard and BMX Jam during September 2010.

The Skateboarding Jam kicks things off on Saturday 18th September, with age group competitions (16 & under, 17 +), a highest ollie competition and finishing with the carnage that comes with a "Best Trick" competition in the bowls. Previous years have seen the cream of the South West UK skateboarding talent turn up and shred the bowl, all in the name of glory. Kill City ripper Jake Collins took full honours last year with a backside boneless from the tombstone into the 6ft, let's see who steps up this year! Registration for the Jam starts at midday with the first age group comp kicking off about 1pm. Music, Prizes and giveaways! Sunday 19th September kicks off the BMX Jam with age group competitions (16 & under, 17 +), a highest bunnyhop competition and finishing with a "Best Trick" competition on a designated part of the park. Last year Steve Aubrey shut the best trick comp down with a huge lookback Backflip - the BMX comp is definitely a crowd favourite.

Registration for the Jam starts at midday with the first age group comp kicking off about 1pm. Music, Prizes and giveaways for this one too! Hope to see you all there! A good weekend should be had by all!

What a great day, I've made a small film myself about this. This was one of the best events the skate park has seen. The Bowl Jam at the end was amazing! Stand by for film......

Got something to say?
