As you may have previously seen on the Sprout website about a talk of a youth zone being at Cardiff-Wales Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Mardi Gras. We can now officially say that this is going ahead. The youth zone is being head up by Loud & Proud (LGBT) youth group and funded by Cardiff Youth Service and Arts & Business to bring you a safe space at the event where you can come to talk to staff from Loud & Proud or Meic helpline about any worries or issues. There are going to be loads of activities going on. Circus Workshop Dj Workshop Graffiti Art Mask Making Face painting Bracelet Making Video Vox Pop As this zone is for young people there will be a ban on alcohol being brought into the area. The youth zone is the first of its kind at Cardiff Mardi Gras so please come along and support this event. If the zone goes well this year then it could only mean it could get bigger next year.
