Look out Cardiff , Ceri Dupree is coming to town! Britain ’s no.1 female impersonator will be at the New Theatre for two nights only from Friday 30 – Saturday 31 July with his one man, all woman show Divalicious! Last seen as Widow Twankey in the 2008/09 panto, Ceri returns to the New to perform as some of the most recognisable women of the 21st Century including Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, Tina Turner, Cher and many more. ‘Joan Collins’ will be sharing some outrageous anecdotes and even ‘Her Majesty the Queen’ will be taking to the stage. On a par with any Las Vegas show, Divalicious is an experience not to be missed. The jaw dropping costumes, amazing vocal impersonations and side splitting comedy will have audiences rolling in the aisles. Ceri has been performing worldwide for more than 25 years and his unique talents have taken him from musical theatre to pantomime, summer season, TV and cabaret. Born in Wales , he has topped the bill in many West End nightclubs, including the Café de Paris, the Talk of London and the Stork club. For two years he appeared twice nightly, six nights a week at the world famous Madame JoJo’s in Soho, followed by three years at Minsky’s Music Hall in Cardiff and now returns to the New Theatre for an evening of top quality entertainment.
