The Human Library allows members of the public to take out on loan ‘Human books’ i.e. people. This will involve people sitting down with their ‘human book’ and finding out more about them and their lives.

This mobile library will be made up of human books from a diverse range of backgrounds. Some of the book titles people will be able to choose from include – A Welsh Gay Professional with Gay Parents, A Syrian Activist, Not Jewish but I Support Israel, Bless Me, Father! Not an Extremist, Not Oppressed, Just a Muslim Girl Living in the West.

This event was set up in Copenhagen to challenge stereotypes and common prejudices in a positive and humorous way.
