Calling all comics, clowns and funny people.
The future generation of comedy needs you! Are you aged between 15-19? Do you dream of ‘standing up’ for a living? If you fancy yourself as the next Michael McIntyre or Jo Brand, you certainly won’t be disappointed this summer with free comedy workshops taking place as part of the Cardiff Comedy Festival 2010 on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd July from 11am- 5pm at Cardiff Central Library.
As well as gaining valuable comedy skills, you’ll also get an amazing opportunity to showcase what you’ve learnt in an evening performance on the 24th July at 7pm.
And if that’s not enough to have you reaching for your joke book - there are prizes for the most promising young talent including free tickets and backstage passes to see Rhod Gilbert at St David’s Hall, and a night in the Penthouse Suite at the Big Sleep Hotel.
