An international festival bringing together the old and the new, and a feast of harp playing to celebrate one of Wales’ ancient traditions. In addition to the events there will be masterclasses, workshops and performances by internationally renowned harpists and musicians. Other attractions of the Festival will be the five competitions designed to encourage every level of harp playing from beginner to young proffesional, on many different styles of harps. For the first time in Europe, there will be an exciting competition for players of the amplified Pop Harp. Camac Harps in association with Telynau Vining Harps of Cardiff are the main sponsors of the Festival, and will stage a splendid exhibition of about 80 harps.
