  • Eczema, or dermatitis, is a skin condition that can affect anyone. It usually appears as dry, itchy and flaky skin which causes irritation and a sore red rash

  • This can be triggered by dust, pets, food allergies, detergents, soaps and beauty products. It can also be caused by asthma, hay fever, stress and can be hereditary

  • Don’t be embarrassed if you suffer from eczema. There are many treatments available such as specialist moisturising creams, bath oils and antihistamines. However, speak to your doctor or a pharmacist for advice on the best treatment for you

  • Taking evening primrose capsules and avoiding dairy produce can help some people with eczema too. Speak to a dietician for advice on what foods you should try to avoid
