There are 24 hours in a day. You probably already knew that, but just keep it in mind while I tell you read this next sentence: this weekend some of us spent, in total, over 20 hours on a coach. Two 10+ hour journeys. That's basically an entire day.

It was the coach ride from the very bottom of South Wales (Vale of Glamorgan) to the very top of North Wales (Anglesey), and we had to drive around the country making numerous pick-ups along the way, so we all knew it would be a long trip. But did it need to take that long? Well, I'm a staff member so it's not my place to judge. Fortunately I don't need to, as a few of the young people wrote a beautiful song about the experience, and it is my pleasure to bring this masterpiece of song writing to the internet. So, without further ado, I bring you... 10 HOURS, with their debut single:

The Greatest Trip of All Time

Got picked up at Pontypridd Station

Picking people up around our nation

Our driver said: "No worry,

I got TomTom; we don't need to hurry!"

We want to get to Anglesey

We want to see CLIC at the sea

Started our journey going up the mountain

We've stalled 3 times and we're still counting

This crazy damn trip is driving us around the bend

Seems like this journey's never gonna end

We want to go to Anglesey

We want to meet CLIC by the sea

Arrive in Holyhead we see a McDonald's

and another McDonald's

[woah, wait... it's the same one!]

and another McDonald's

Drive down a road

it's a bit of a squeeze

Didn't see the sign that said "No wide vehicles, please" [Sam may have improvised slightly here]

We arrived at Anglesey

We met CLIC at the sea

We went straight for our tea

we went for a looooooong pee

Hey guys! I can't help but feel that it would've gone a lot better had we had the lyrics you just wrote out ;)

For some reason, when I came home, I had this in my head. So much so, that I began to "solo" (well, attempted to solo) over Craig's chords. Maybe I should've brought my guitar with me...

Ah well, next residential, I'm bringing my guitar and effects pedal. Going to add a bit of wah wah to the proceedings. Haha.
