When Gavin And Stacey returned we were all so pleased that it finally hit our TV screens again. But ever since series three ended, everyone is now wondering if there will be a series four or not?

It would be good though if there was another series, because Gavin And Stacey is really great, funny TV and I think it's also very sweet.

For those of you who haven't seen Gavin And Stacey, it is about a young Welsh girl called Stacey from our Vale home town of Barry, and an Essex boy called Gavin. They met, fell in love, emailed and rang each other a lot and finally got together. Gavin moves to Barry, they marry and the story follows their relationships along with their crazy family and friends.

Gavin And Stacey started on our TV sets three years ago in May 2007, attracting a tiny audience of 543,000. Now, three years later its popularity shot to the top reaching 10, 250,000 on New Year's Day 2010!

It's a very funny romantic comedy and is very famous winning four British Comedy Awards, two Baftas and a South Bank award. Many characters from the show have gone on to appear in lots of other TV programmes and help out various charitable causes like Sport Relief, Comic Relief, Channel 4 Comedy Gala and loads more.

Stacey is played by Joanna Page, Gavin by Matthew Horne, Nessa by Ruth Jones, Dave by Steffan Rhodri, Bryn by Rob Brydon, Gwen by Melanie Walters, Jason by Robert Wiltfort, Smithy by James Corden, Pam by Alison Steadman, Mick by Larry Lamb, and Doris by Margaret John.

Well for all those Gavin and Stacey lovers we've all just got to hope and pray there will be a series four on television screens soon. Bring back Gavin And Stacey!

I agree with you Imogen, Gavin and Stacey was so original and funny- it was really popular as well; my R.E teacher went to Australia and she said they loved it there! So I suppose it put Wales on the map too. However, don't you think there is a danger that another series would just burn the idea out- they went out on a high in series three- series four could potentially bore audiences and leave us fans with a nasty taste. Subsequent series are rarely as good as the original ones.
