Yn Gymraeg

The day is fast approaching.

The CLICawards 2011 are a-coming.

The day has been set in virtual stone, and it is the night of November the 19th. The day shall be filled with the joyous chants from the winners and the possible tears via the non-winners, so it should be a somewhat mellow evening.

We have acquired the fortress of the woolly mammoth, otherwise known as the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff, for this event. It shall last for three hours, and it shall be good. It will be good...

Doors will be open on the night at 6:00pm with the ceremony commencing at 6:30pm with an estimated ending of 9:00pm. There will be comedy from Robin Morgan, music from CLIC BOTB winners Eric Unseen, circus performers from No-Fit State and rather shiny awards for the winners. And believe me, they are shiny.

There is a dress code and the dress code is smart-casual. Well, we say it's smart-casual, we're not going to exile you if you come in pyjamas or waltz in wearing a wig. Basically, wear what you want, just don't look too scruffy. We've got to make sure that CLIC keeps its good reputation, you see? Oh and don't forget the hat. You've got to wear a hat. That's the dress code.

So, how does that sound? I knew you'd say that.

Want to know if you're invited? Well, let me break that thought bubble straight away, you are all invited. We're rather generous here at CLIC, don't you agree?

Coming? Well, let us know either on our Facebook page or in a comment on this darling of an article. If you RSVP in such a manner you will definitely get a seat and a goody bag, while rocking up on the day means we can't guarantee you anything. There will also be a buffet in full effect on the night.

And remember, voting is still live and has been since the 29th of October. If you haven't voted yet, why not? You've not got long now as the polls close on Saturday 12th November 2011, a week before the actual event.

And if you are coming, have a word with your local editor since there is a possibility that they are arranging transport. And for those who don't know who their local editor is, you can find it here. And if your county's not listed there, send an email to sam@cliconline.org.uk.

So yeah, keep on voting, and let us know if you're coming or not. And do it soon, ya?

I'm repeating what I said to Dan...

I'd give up Miley Cyrus Concert tickets, a trip to Hollywood, Winning 6 film awards for Fierce Headbutt, a day out with my family and my iPhone to come to the CLIC awards. Of course I'll be there!

And you know that those type of things mean stuff to me.. x
