I love being Welsh. We have flare, charisma, passion and generally look on the brighter side of life. This is a good thing as there is lots of bad news in the media at the moment. I try to not let it get me down as I’m a glass-half-full person.
I’m particularly grateful for Christmas this year as it has replaced all those bad news stories with thoughts of mistletoe, presents, reindeer, Santa Claus, Christmas hats and chocolates; if only for a little while.
When I want to top up my Christmas-o-Meter (as I call it), I walk outside and see the wonderful Christmas spirit that is right here in Wales.
I wanted to capture this for everyone and share some of the amazing sights that are right here in my home town: Llanelli. I borrowed Dad’s camera (well I asked Mum, I’m not sure he knew about it) and went out a couple of weekends ago to take some photos. I hope you enjoy the warmth, fun and beautiful lights.
