If you're reading this, there's a small chance that you know what CLIConline is. If not, have a gander at this.

But there's one section on CLIC that is not as well known as CLIC itself, which is a shame.

What is that, I hear you cry? Well, that is CLICplay, the dedicated CLIC channel for all things video.

The service, which was set live on the 19th of November 2011, is fully interactive, allowing you to upload your own videos, share them on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, rate and comment on videos, with some of the best being displayed on CLIConline also.

So, would you like to get invovled? Well, it's easy. All you have to do is sign up. Unfortunately, even if you do have a CLIConline account, you will have to register with CLICplay. Don't ask me why, something to do with servers or badgers or something.

When you're all registered, you'll see a new tab called "Add Video" appear, which will allow you to upload your own video or even import the video from YouTube or Vimeo.

After uploading, the video will be checked by someone at CLIC, just to make sure eerything's fine with the video. Basically, it's the same process as if you were to upload an article, theme or comment on CLIConline. And if it hits the core requirements of not being offensive, libellous or in bad taste, it shall be set live for all in Wales to see. Three huzzahs and a packet of crisps for all.

Want to represent your regional website? Well, you can. Each website on the CLIC network will have a dedicated channel on CLICplay. So, as an example, if you're a Sprouter, once you're registered, just visit the Channels page on CLICplay and click join for theSprout channel. Obviously, it's the same procedure if you want to join a different channel, I only used theSprout as an example. Favouritism does not exist in CLIC, my friends. I think, at least.

So, if you have a video in either .wmv, .mov or .mp4 format which is under 250 MB in size, why not sign up and then upload it to CLICplay?

Struggling to get your video under 250 MB? Don't fret, just educate yourself using Vimeo's compression help pages. Although they are indeed specific guidelines for uploading videos to Vimeo, they will help you on your way to your own personal compression heaven, no matter what application you use.

Oh, and did I mention that you'll be awarded with a CLIC hoodie once your upload count hits ten videos? Ah well, it's worth a mention.
