Okay, so some of you may be aware that this week is Holocaust Memorial Week, and on Monday I went to an event in Cwmbran Stadium that was all about remembering and learning about the Holocaust and the devestation it left behind.

While there I wrote a short poem, and here it is:

Remember the tears of the fallen,
For the fallen shall live on in those
Who remember them,
Remember the tears,
Remember the fallen.

The sufferers of the Holocaust,
Genocide and wars,
Remember them,
Remember the fallen.

We shall remember the tears,
The tears of the fallen,
The tears of the lost,
We will remember them,
The tears of the fallen.

Never dwell, just remember,
Never cry, just remember,
Never lost nor fogotten,
Remember them, remember the fallen.

I hope you all like this short poem. I know it doesnt rhyme much but its not intended for that purpose. I do hope that this poem has made you think, and has moved some of you in some way inside.

Thank you for reading.

Thanks for this eddie, a very heartfelt and fitting tribute to those who were affected by a terrible event. I am still agahast that this happened yesterday in historical terms, and right here in Europe. Incredible.
