In this new, regular series, we celebrate the talents of young CLICers behind the camera.

You may be aware of the CLICgallery tab at the top of this page - but did you know you could submit your photos, artwork and designs to it by emailing gallery@cliconline.co.uk? Now you know, and your work could feature here soon. The gallery is also open to artwork such as cartoons, paintings, Photoshop creations and drawings.

Our first featured photographer is kranenvuhurr from Flintshire, who explains some of his inspirations and advice for others:

"What I enjoy most about photography is visiting various locations with different light sources and different environments. I took my first photo back in October last year. I would love to do photography as a profession in the future, and move it on from being a hobby, as this would encourage me to travel further and improve more using light definition.

"My advice to other young photographers is use the eye: whenever you see an unusual picture, snap it. Look for shapes and colour contrasts. I don't really have a favourite photo as I try to enjoy every photo I take. I don't have a favourite photographer but David Shepard is my favourite artist.

"Inspiration to me is mainly based around flowers: the colour and the detail. I'm excited to be featured in the CLICgallery as it enables me to show my work as I progress and send in improved photos."

Check out some of kranenvuhurr's work above, and remember to submit your stuff to gallery@cliconline.co.uk.
