Girl Guiding Camp
I am reporting from the Wonderful One Hundred In Wales: The Girlguiding Cymru Drop-In Camp.
We are camping at The Royal Welsh Showground, where the girls attending have come from all over Wales.
There are over 600 girls taking part, and we are staying for two nights and three days. We have been involved in activities like crafts, adventure, and different challenges.
We have also taken part in workshops for taekwondo, fencing, archery, a maze of thought, handling birds and ferrets and lots more. I loved the archery most of all.
In the craft class we made pipe cleaner dogs, necklaces and ducks, and much more. On Friday night we had a campfire without fire, where we sang lots of songs although we didn’t know very many of them.
I really like being in The Girl Guides because it’s lots of fun, and I love it when we get to achieve the badges and try different things.
We also get to make lots of new friends from different places.
