The Wrexham Foyer will be stepping into the limelight during these next few months as Community Music Wales (CMW) will be working on a musical project with them.

CMW were awarded a community grant from The Arts Council of Wales recently to deliver two projects during 2009 and 2010. They chose to work with The Wrexham Foyer in the North.

The Wrexham Foyer is a hostel for homeless young people and also has a single mothers unit. By taking part in the musical and artistic activities the young people can gain an OCN qualification. The activities they take part in aims to raise awareness of homelessness in the area.

At the end of the project they will put on a public performance and exhibition in their community.
