Laziness Saved My Mate's Life!
Have you heard of those deadly bracelets going around? The ones that were sold at the Eden Project in Cornwall, amongst other tourist attractions? Well there have been reports of people dying from these bracelets as the poisonous berries can cause kidney failure.
Well I went down to St Austell to see my Uncle's show Labrynth, which was a circus show all around the Eden Project. When we were in the shop at the end of our stay I saw this really nice bracelet (the killer one but I did not know that) and I thought 'Freya would love this bracelet' and so I went to get money off my mum to buy it.
I returned to the shop feeling good about myself but then I saw the queue and thought, "I really can't be bothered to queue in that" and forgot about the bracelet. I didn't think about it again until a few weeks ago when my friend Cerys ran up to me and to check my wrists. I asked her what she was doing and she showed me a sheet of paper with a picture of the bracelet on, saying that 75 people had died and if you found one, you should wrap it up in a plastic bag and take it to the police.
I said to Cerys "My laziness has just saved Freya's life!" She looked at me with bewilderment, so I told her about the queue and a small smirk crawled across her face, "What's so funny?" I asked her and she just laughed and went off, leaving me at the bus bays.
When I told Freya, she didn't seem too offended.

Well, it must be said, it's not everyday you hear/read something like that! I knew laziness could come in handy one day. It's weird to think that a piece of jewellery can kill you, though! Good article x

OMG - That's terrifying! I read the news article in the link -- can't believe people were selling such deadly weapons! :O
Oh, and three cheers for laziness! :)
