Three finalists from this year’s Live and Unsigned competition are set to make waves at Beach Break Live this week in the lead-up to the Live and Unsigned National Grand Final at The O2 on Saturday 14th July.

The acts were picked after impressing festival promoters at the Live and Unsigned Area Finals, and they will now go on to play the festival headlined by massive acts Chase and Status, Dizzee Rascal and Friendly Fires.

Set to play the festival are the eclectic mix of Two Little Boys, CoCo and the Butterfields and The Story Boys, who have all been picked to play after impressing the festival promoters during this year’s Live and Unsigned competition.

The popular student festival is a nationwide extravaganza set in the sublime setting of Pembrey Country Park, Wales, that has gone from strength-to-strength since its victory on the popular BBC programme Dragon’s Den to establish itself as the event of the summer for the student masses!

Now in its sixth year, Beach Break Live is based in an incredible location providing the most tantalising stretch of polished sandy beaches, taking place over a variety of venues and stages as well as hundreds of activities.

Beach Break Live is just one example of the many outstanding festival opportunities Live and Unsigned acts can achieve throughout the competition. The victor of the National Grand Final at The O2 in London will go on to play the Live and Unsigned Winners Festival Tour of 14 dates. Included in this year’s festival prizes are huge events like Relentless Energy Drink Boardmasters, Osfest and Sundown Festival, as well as Independent grassroots festivals like London Summer Jam, Brownstock, CockRock, Folk on the Water, and Newcastle Green.

With an ever expanding UK festival scene, the opportunities unsigned artists get to play big festivals is ever-diminishing, so Live and Unsigned has to be the best chance to get a direct-line to the best UK festivals, blowing the doors wide open to playing in front of new audiences.

Live and Unsigned is the biggest original music competition in the UK for unsigned bands and artists, attracting over 40,000 musicians to enter this year and establishing itself as the definitive music competition for original acts of all genres. Already confirmed for this year’s Grand Final are Radio 1’s DJ Target and Kiss FM Breakfast presenter Charlie Hedges and Kerrang’s Alex Baker returning for his third year with many more to be revealed in the weeks leading up to the Grand Final.
