Yn Gymraeg

This last week I have been on a work experience placement with a graphic design company called Burning Red which is based in Cardiff Bay. The company is very professional and are currently working on numerous projects including this website.

I started the week by looking through magazines for inspiration to create a stop motion. I decided to base my stop motion on blythe dolls similar to the ones that are seen on diet coke adverts. I then researched different types of dolls and picked my favourite to design my own doll. After finishing the research I went on to create the doll and cutting her out of card. I also assembled her with push pins so that she could move.

By following the story board that I created I took pictures of all the positions. Then we merged the photos together on the computer and slotted the backgrounds that I drew to look like different scenes in the story.

The Last Day.

I was very busy the last day creating the final video. I went to work on cropping and resizeing the pictures so that they were compatible with the computer software. I also focused the pictures on a specific point so that the blythe doll would not jump around in the video. So by five o'clock the video was completed and I was ready to start the journey home to Machynlleth.
