Neighbourhoods In Action
Neighbourhoods In Action Week recently hit the streets of Pembrokeshire.
From 23 to 27 May, the agencies of Safer Pembrokeshire demonstrated how they work together to keep communities safe.
Agencies included the Pembrokeshire Youth Information And Participation Team, Police, Dogs' Trust, Keep Wales Tidy, the Fire Brigade and Community Regeneration.
Daily roadshows enabled the agencies from Safer Pembrokeshire to provide the public with information and advice on a wide range of subjects.
The Information Mobile Zone carried out a consultation designed to address community issues and concerns amongst its younger residents, and provided information on and raised awareness to the existing youth provisions in Pembrokeshire.
An event was also held at Pembrokeshire College that focused on vehicle exhaust noise testing, a driving simulator, road safety information, and a bluetooth ‘dignity’ campaign aimed at promoting safe use of alcohol and sexual health messages.
