Yn Gymraeg

A poem we wrote in English Literature class as a pseudo-tribute to the era of Romanticism in poetry:

Oh pen, why won'tst thou work?
I've tried rubbing your plastic phallic outer casing,
In hope that the ink will warm and liquefy,
But in vain.
Alas! Alack!
Ink will not spew forth;
Chunder hence dark liquid!
My paper lies, a naked white virgin upon my desk.

Having just returned from a CLIC residential, during which the wonderful Miss Holly Morris read this poem aloud in front of everyone, I can now fully appreciate how bloody hilarious this actually is!
