Poem: Child's Eyes
When you look though the eyes of the young
when you stand in the shoes of a child
when you see in their hopes and dreams
you will remember why you always smiled
if you colour in a book like a child
not caring about being perfect or right
or play in a sand box just for fun
just let your imagination take flight
when you listen to the fears of the small
they don't think of war, murder or pain
but a monster that's lurking under the bed
or someone taking away their toy train
a child learns so much each night and day
from talking to playing some football
maybe we have forgotten to enjoy life
maybe we could learn again from the small.

Love the poem. I wish I was little again. Hardest part was choosing what dressing up outfit to wear or what sweets to have at the cafe...
