Poem: Youth
Youth is about learning
about finding your way.
You can stumble and fall
and besides it all
you survive another day
Youth is pain and sorrow and confusion,
trying to learn what is real
and what's an illusion.
Youth is also happiness
and excitement and laughter,
doing something stupid
and seeing the stupidity after.
Youth is not a curse
but neither is it a gift.
Youth just indescribably
is something we all will have lived.
