Spaces For You
somewhereto_ is a project helping young people aged 16-25 in Wales and nationwide find incredible spaces to do the things they love in sport, culture and the arts.
The project is run by Livity, in partnership with Channel 4, and funded by Legacy Trust UK, creating a lasting impact from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games by funding ideas and local talent to inspire creativity across the UK.
With over 500 spaces on the website, from warehouses to football fields, dance studios to office / meeting rooms, radio stations and websites to get heard and published on - there is space for every passion, whether you're into dance, music, free running, art, photography, sports and so on.
Their latest project is a collaboration with The Graffiti Life Company, opening up an amazing space outside London’s The O2 for 18 young artists to get their work exhibited.
With support from AEG Europe, the London Development Agency, and O2 Think Big, this stunning showcase will run until Tuesday 13 March, so if you’re in the city, be sure to check it out! More info here.
For those of you in Wales, tell somewhereto_ what space you need and contact your on-hand regional coordinator at www.somewhereto.com/regions/wales.
The aim is to help improve the lives of thousands of young people in the UK and create thousands of success stories, today and in the future.
