The CLICawards - I Was There!
Well the first ever CLIC awards evening has just finished and I have to admit it was AWESOMELY AWESOME and full of AWESOMENESS.
I would like to congratulate all who recieved awards. Well done guys and girls, some amazing articles and movies, loved the lot lol, but other than that I have to thank you all for choosing my hat, my very heavy and very cool Fox Head hat, as the best hat. I'm glad you liked it but just you wait for next year, it's gonna be Epically Epic of Epic Proportions, I'm already working on designs!
Well enough of me tooting my own horn, let's actually talk more about the night.
The Hats
Well there was a variety of hats on offer: there were hats that were simple but cool, and then there were hats that were outrageous. Oh and also hats that were awesome, for example the hats that I saw included:-
- Purple Pirates hat
- Pasta Hat
- Tom Bowler hats
- and I can't forget my hat, the Fox Head hat, and my inspiration for this was from my own story "The Fox and the Otter"
The People
Well the people there on the night were as varied as the hats, but still some very cool people. I had the pleasure of talking to a few peep and getting to know them (and yes, they loved my hat). I had some interesting conversations: some were about my hat itself and others were just about random stuff like "man that ride looks scary" and "that looks heavy" lol, but still all cool.
The Band (Eric Unseen)
Well the band was awesome, that's all I can say, they had a good set, some cracking songs, just awesome. I didn't get to chat to them but I intend to at some point, maybe even take my African drum and have a little jam session lol.
The CLIC Staff
Well guys I guess it's you we need to thank for helping us young people to experience this occasion. I offer you my hand *Holds out hand* oh and thanx for the coments about my hat.
Everything Else
Well I dunno what else to really say, apart from it was a pity that we couldn't have a guest appearance from the Woolly Mammoth, but let's all lobby them for next year!
