The Lion King
My favourite film is The Lion King and has been since I was a little girl.
It was always my favourite film because I liked the story and the way the characters are in it.
My favourite characters were always Mufassa and Simba as well as Nahla.
Mufassa is the king of the lion pride and Simba is his son, whilst Nahla is Simba’s childhood friend and eventual wife.
The story of The Lion King is of the birth of Simba and how he will soon become King of the pride. Mufassa has a brother called Scar who wants to be king instead and so plots to kill Mufassa as well as Simba so that he himself can become king.
There are some very sad moments in The Lion King such as when Mufassa dies and also when Simba has run away and sees his father in the stars.
The Lion King has just come out in 3D and I would personally urge everyone to see it as it is an amazing film with very good music in it too.
