The Meaning Of Life
The meaning of life,
To live without strife,
To survive all struggles,
To manage all mayhem.
The meaning of life,
The life that we live,
The love that we feel,
The hate that we dread,
The meaning of life,
The number 42,
Or so they say,
The love of all is what I say,
The meaning of life,
Existence on Earth
Gradual destruction of Earth,
The tearing out of the Earth's resources,
The meaning of life,
What is it really?
Nobody knows,
For if we knew,
We would not be here.
The meaning of life is one of the riddles that has plagued all of mankind for centuries. In a universe of millions and billions of planets there is only life on ours. Why is that? Why are we so special that we can have life and be able to thrive?
Personally I don't dwell on the question of the meaning of life. I'm just glad that I have a life to live, and I am able to adapt and survive, but that's just me. I know that there are some people out there who believe in creationism (the idea that we were created by a higher power) and some who believe in evolutionism (the Darwin way, that we are all decended from apes).
Then there are some like me, who are just glad to be alive and don't question the fact of why. But I think that's enough on the meaning of life now.
