The BBC is looking for two professional, versatile actors who could work with the BBC Radio Drama Company.

They will run an audition at Aberystwyth Arts Centre for eight to ten shortlisted actors with a BBC Wales Radio Drama Producer on Sunday 22 January 2012.

Applicants must also be available for semi-finals in London on Tuesday 14 February and finals on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 March 2012.

You must also be willing to be based in London from 21 July for five months if you are one of the two successful candidates.

The BBC Norman Beaton Fellowship (NBF) is a flagship initiative run by BBC Radio Drama. NBF was set up to broaden the range of actors available to Radio Drama producers across the UK by encouraging applicants of all ages from non-traditional training backgrounds.

Actors must be over 18 and must not have attended an accredited drama school course but have some acting experience.

If you would like to apply for a place at the audition, please send a CV (up to two sides of A4) and a letter explaining why you are interested in this opportunity to Gill Ogden by Monday 18 December:
