WNO Looking For Future Stars

Welsh National Opera are on the lookout for young people aged 16 - 25 who are interested in performing or working backstage on an opera production.

In August 2013, Welsh National Youth Opera will perform for the first time ever on the main stage at the iconic Wales Millennium Centre, performing Benjamin Britten’s opera, Paul Bunyan, during Britten’s centenary year.

WNYO offers young performers and technical placement students a unique professional performance experience not only offering directing, coaching and mentoring led by a range of exceptional top theatre professionals and WNO staff; it also offers you the opportunity to connect strongly into the Welsh National Opera Company.
