Work Experience With ProMo-Cymru #2

DAY 1
First thing I was introduced to Pat Green. She explained to me what ProMo-Cymru was all about so it would give me some idea of what I might be doing over the week. She also showed me every room in the workshop just in case there was any danger I would know where to go. She then introduced me to Sprout Editor Arielle, she was the person I worked with all day. There was another person going to the workshop for work experience as well so we were asked to search information and videos about substance misuse. And for the last two hours I was asked to make panels to design a short comic story about drinking alcohol for RedButton.
DAY 2
Today I met Sub-Ed Sam in the Royal Welsh College of Music And Drama to go and see Sinfonia Newydd, I recorded record the event and I also got the opportunity to edit the video so they could upload it to TheSproutTV on YouTube. We also changed a bit of the plot for the comic story I started the previous day.
DAY 3
I met Ryan and we hanged out with him the whole day in the office just finishing off some of the comic story work.
DAY 4
This day I joined in the staff meeting and we got to see what this was like. Apparently it would normally take them longer but it only took them a couple of hours to finish discussions. After the lunch break we headed back to the office to prepare the papers for the next meeting for the editorial group and I also got to see what it was like and listen on their discussions, it's really fun. The next one is July 28th.
DAY 5
Today is my final day of work experience. We were asked to finish off the animation we prepared four days ago for substance misuse and we did. This was basically a relaxed fun day because it was our final day and we got to do any fun animations. So yeah being here for five days was a great opportunity to have, everyone was very nice to us and they made working sound cool and made it feel like a really fun environment to be in.

Already did work experience with ProMo, I loved it, Infact I'd be more than happy to go again :D
Hmm, I've got a pretty boring summer ahead of me. I think I might be needing to make a phone call or send a few emails :D
