CLIC was in Edinburgh for the day on Monday to find out what YoungScot is offering to all the young people in Scotland! YoungScot is the National Youth Information & Citizenship Charity for Scotland.

Over at their offices in Haymarket, we met the key members of the YoungScot team and learnt about how they manage their website, magazine and events. It was all very interesting and inspiring for us at CLIC, who are currently redeveloping our site to deliver exciting content and features for our young people in Wales.

We were especially impressed with the YoungScot National Entitlement Card they came up with which offered young people great discounts on travel, products, services and also acts as a proof of age and meal payment card.

Plus, we liked their idea of having an InfoLine for young people to get in touch when they need help and information. And not to mention the roadshows they plan all over Scotland!

So here’s what CLIC wants to hear from you! What do you think of the idea of a CLIC membership card that could get you discounts and offers? If we had a CLIC InfoLine, would it be something you would use?
